    Hello!

I have just bought a new computer and am using Windows Vista Home Premium. I have previously always used TMPGenc to convert any AVI file to VCD and I used the Frameserver of Virtual Dub to burn in the subtitles into the VCD. But now I feel lost.

Perhaps there is now better ways of doing this in Vista?. Do anyone here know how to do this (convert a Xvid to VCD with burnt in subtitles)
    Sincerely Joakim Agren!

Tmpgenc is still one of the best vcd encoders imo. You can use dvd2svcd with it. Which is quite old, but works fine in windows vista.

I still use VirtualDub Mod and frameserve to TMPGEnc Plus with Vista. Works fine for me.
