Real Magic DVD Station - Play AVI's??

I have just purchased the Sigma Designs DVD Motion Hardware decoder Card. I want to use this to watch my movies on the TV instead of my PC. The Card comes with the software Real Magic DVD Station.

Does anyone know if this player can be used to play AVI's? Are there any codecs or plugins that can be used? Or, does anybody know if this card can be used to get an SVHS feed out of my PC using another software player-eg Power DVD 4.

BTW using Win XP 512Mb Ram Intel P3 (733) with on board graphics.

divxplus can play avi/divx but it is very buggy though

Thanks-I will give it a go tonight! What about eugenes DVD player-anyone got that working ok?

All sounds complicated for a newbie though!

"I had bicubic resize and the h+ yuvrende" does the bicubic resize work...
