Chicken Little Blue-ray backup to AVC/h.264 failes.

For some reason I have not been able to backup Chicken Little of my BD. DVDFab HD worked flawlessly and I can play the entire cartoon with my media player, but when I try to back it up using StaxRip and X264 it crashes X264 during the compressibility run at always 2.6%. I have tried the same with Xvid and DivX and this time VirtualDubMod crashes at the same place.

I have backed up numerous of my film BD collection even very new ones like 300 and never had an issue. This is my first cartoon/animation though. Maybe I am missing something?

Once yes, but not with this movie. I had a hard time getting the compressibility run going with megui. But I am going to try again just to see if it might be something related to Stax.

Strange enough, MEgui did the trick. Now it seems like I have issues with StaxRip even on other movies so I am leaning towards some corrupt setup that is causing the crash.

OK. Figured out why StaxRip missbehaved.

I recently updated FFDShow and selected to decode H.264/AVC. What was strange was that when Stax started x264 it always opened to instances of Haali and one instance of FFD Video.

I unselected the h.264/AVC from FFD and now Stax is working again. Don't know why this would be a problem, but this is what fixed it for me.
