2.5 hdd prblem

I have a hitachi drive 2.5 15gb hhd, (from my mp3 player)





and to use it on my comp i got:






the instruction say to set the hhd to master, but its on slave nd i have no idea how to do it on my small hhd it doesnt
have a switch or anything.

I think that maybe the probelm, but is that the right product i bought?

There are two pairs of pins
on the left (top picture)
You need a jumper to short a pair of them.
