I have the Plextor Convertx device which converts analog to digital video. I'm using it on Vista machine. Now, software comes with the Convertx. this software is called Intervideo WinDVD Creator and the manual to the Convertx indicates that in order for me to import video from a VCR, I have to install this WinDVD Creator software. Is this so? Or does Vista Ultimate have somthing already built into the OS, that can import video from VCR? If so, which does this? I cant seem to find it....

Have you tried Windows DVD Maker(only included in vista premium or ultimate) or Windows Movie Maker?

Where can I go within Vista to see the video being imported?
