Just rigged up laptop to plasma in lounge and bought external hard drive for all my music/photo's/video's etc.

Just wondered, with all the legal digital MP3 download sites now, are there any decent sites where you can download high quality music video's, old and new?

    High Definition preferably!

    Thanks for any ideas/suggestions

Well I know itunes does sell music videos now. I don't think they do high definition yet.

Another option might be the xbox 360. I know they have a marketplace for downloads and I also believe they offer high definition material. You might want to check it out. Now as for getting it off of the xbox you might have to get a hacked version of one and I don't know how well the 360 has been hacked compared to the xbox 1.

As far as other online places try searching around. I know amazon has the unbox service but I don't know if they offer music videos yet and as far as I know they are all standard definition. Good luck.

WALMART and Best Buy both have on line stores that will allow you to buy and download.

You're joking right? Actually provide to the consumer a high defintion video for purchase and download? They may actually make some money off the people such as yourself that are willing to purchase such material but you may also be a pirate so they won't do that.... Hmmmm.. same thing that happened with MP# if I remeber correctly.

launch, aol music, winamp via shoutcast all have broadband videos free to view. not exactly high def but most are 800k streams. its not exactly what you asked for. but its free. its got a very large selection and the quality is great for what it is.
http://music.aol.com/archive/main there is a link to aol.. dont let the company scare you.. that is the most artist and selection on a free legal site i have ever seen and the streams are 700-800and you they even have some that are HQ dvd quality if you can find them
