    will capturing in Lagarith codec to AVI cause more frame drops than using Huffyuv ?

    Processor: Athlon 2700+, 756 MB RAM, Disk 7200 RPM IDE.

    Theoretically, it could. It needs a bit more CPU power than Huffyuv. In real life, I dunno.

    hmmm.....

    so I could capture Uncompressed or in Huffyuv and later encode to Lagarith using Virtualdub ? I need the files in loseless AVI quality with least size.

    I'm sure it could, yes. I have problems with MJPEG, but not HuffYUV.

    btw Lordsmurf, does the Vidicraft Vidimate VDMS300 and Vidicraft Detailer III work with PAL ?
