I've tried to convert my rm files to AVI, but when I go to play them I get sound but no picture. I'm currently using Windows XP & the program I'm using for the conversion is TINRAgui. I read on one site that this could be caused by hardware acceleration, but I've changed the acceleration on both my sound card and video card & it didn't help. Also, when the file is converted you get two files, one plays the sound and the other I can't open at all, and ends in .dat, can anyone tell me anything about this file. IF you can help me figure out how to convert to AVI though I'd really appreciate it, thanks

try using a program called EOVideo.
i think its better than tinra
when i use tinra, when it finishes tinra crashes and it the file cant be accessed or something. -
I've tried using EO Video too, but I get a message saying that it can't determine the duration of the file so it won't convert it.
