I am trying to convert an AVI file that I captured from a VHS tape to MPEG-2 for a DVD burn. I get an error stating something to the effect "Trial for MPEG2 conversion over". What does this mean? I thought the TMPGEnc was freeware software. Was I wrong in assuming this?
Thanks in advance...

TMPGEnc IS freeware, but you can only use the MPEG-2 funktion for trial in 30 days...

This question has been answered before. There is a register hack for it. Just do a search of the old posts.
