Hi i want to capture a web stream tomorrow night so i downloaded a program called wm recorder 11 and it does the job. But ive got one problem, whilst watching the stream it sometimes goes choppy and stutters. Ive seleced the highest video quality for the stream but this still happens, i dont know wheather this is normal or if its just me. Heres a link to the streams,

    http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/webcast/

can someone tell me if they get stutters and such or if they dont. Is there any way to stop this?

    thanks

The joys of streaming. There are so many points between you and the source of the stream that could be choking it. If you can find the source address you might be able to run a trace route and see which legs take longest, but stutters and break up are just a fact of life when streaming a lot of video data over a congested network. You would have a better chance if you chose a lower quality.

edit: don't think there is much you can do about the choppyness. Its the way it is encoded.
