A good software to modify the voice

Hi there. I've heard of MorphVox, a software that modifies a person's voice into what you want (there are packs for downloading and unfortunately its payware). I was just wondering if there's another better alternative? Thanks in advance.

The people who do MorphVox seem to have a freeware version called MorphVox junior : http://www.screamingbee.com/product/MorphVOXJunior.aspx

I haven't used or tested any of these, so I don't vouch for their quality or usefulness. This is simply what Google has provided.

I remember my kids used to play jokes with that Funny-voice on Windows 98.
