fitting VCD on a disc... help please!

I have a movie that I'm trying to burn to VCD, but when I load it up in Toast it says that its too long to fit on a VCD. What do I have to do to cut it into two 80 minute pieces? Thanks in advance

I think 80 min is too long to fit on a VCD... but 74 min should fit on 1 CD.

you can fit 79mins on a 80 minute cd done that plenty of times or 73mins on 74min cd you can put 800mbs on 700mb cd i use 790 as i leave 10 megs for the other files someone might be able to explain it better but 80 mins will fit onto a vcd as it goes on time not mbs 1min = 10mbs
