    Drop it into Gspot 2.70 and see if it recognizes the format. Or try VirtualDub Mod and see if it can open it.

    You haven't really given enough information to make much more than guesses.

    How did you create the file? It sounds like it may be just a raw AVI file. What format of video do you want to convert to?

    Hi,

    I have developed an activeX control for video streaming from video server from ACTi.Whatever stream is coming from the video server is raw avi so when we store it on the disk it consumes too much space.I have a character buffer(char *m_outBuf),through which i am streaming the video.
    I want to know can i use the same buffer to create a video file(wmv,h.264)?If so how can i do the same?Please help me?
