    my dvd writer keeps messing up everytime i put a dvdrw disc into it. After i have put in the disc i go to my computer and it then it says cd drive and do you want to burn to cd instead of dvd and do you want to burn to disc. Can anyone help fix this problem?

    What type DVD burner? what media? what tools you using to burn? need some info!!!!

    Which program did you used ?

    You may have to use the pull-down tab, and select DVD.

    Win2000 , make sure you have installed the service packs , esspecially service pack 4 .

    Then use imgburn for almost anything "burn to media" related
