I have a 16x dvd player. Up until yesturday I used to rip a whole dvd in less then 10 minutes. Now its taking over an hour. For some reason it seems to now be reading it at a speed of 1.2x At least acording to smart ripper anyways. The only possible reason I can think for why this is happening is that I installed DVDx yesturday and it wanted to install some driver into windows so I let it. Since then I have removed DVDx and even uninstalled the DVD driver from windows and let it reinstall itself but its still going really slow. Does anyone know why its doing this and more importantly how I can fix it? I really dont want to have to reinstall windows in order to get this fixed but right now its the only thing I can think of. Im running windows xp in case anyones wondering. Thanks for any help.
