  1. I need help. Everytime I burn the mpeg to VCD my VCD while looking great and sounding fine has one major problem. The picture instead of being centered on the screen, it is put up in the top left quadrant of the screen. It seem s to be the exact top left quadrant. ( exactly 1/4 of the size it should be) very frustrating. I can't figure out what happened. I usually get the message that the Mpeg is not correct and let Nero correct it. Any ideas. I like and wish to continuing using TMPGEnc, and have had luck getting 2 to work in the past , just recently. I am using Win XP 1.2 GHz Athlon with a Plextor 16x40x24 burner if that makes any difference. I searched and read every post for TMPEnc and could find no one with a similar problem. Thanks in advance.

When you use TMPGenc to make your VCD mpeg it should produce a fully compliant VCD mpeg, then Nero will not complain.

To do this you load a template in TMPGenc (NTSC, or PAL) etc, its output will now be correct for Nero.

If you play the Mpeg before loading it into Nero is it correct ?, if so then its Nero that's changing it.

However you don't want to convert with TMPGEnc and Nero, this will take twice as long, so use a template in TMPGEnc.

  3. Check your source as aspect ratios. I have found that I accidentally put the incorrect aspect ratio in and it put my video in the upper left hand corner of my tv.
