    is there any sort of lead that would let me connect my music from my mp3 player to my hi-fi other than using a fm transmitter?

    there are 2 sockets at the back 1 red 1 white and says video/aux.

    is there such a wire out there that has a headphone jack on one end and red & white on the other?

    Available at most electronic stores. A very common adaptor.
