Well after using DVDx for about 2 weeks and trying every setting combination possible, I want to tell all DVDx users to switch to TMPGEnc.

This program has produced a VCR quality movie in just 3 hours!

  2. You don't have to use DVDx -s mpeg encoding. It's possible to encode with premiere plugin.

  3. I would have to agree with Mekhu. I've tried all the different settings and the final qaulity is quite poor. Then tried the Panasonic plugin option, an improvent but Flask/Pana gives a better picture using the same Plugin ! Then tried frame serving to TMPGEnc, better again but still long way short of DVD2AVI/TMPGEnc method.

  4. I'm not egree with you , DVDx has a very good encoding engine if you use it right.

All depends on how you handle the fields. If you don't do anything the result is very bad. I'm using interpolat and the VCD is good.

  5. Your right, interpolate does give the best picture but its still a far cry from what you get with DVD2AVI/TMPGEnc method IMHO.
