I can't seem to get any channel to play without studdering/choppy video (The card picks up 4 channels with my antenna mounted on the side of my house high up). Can anyone suggest a solution? I'm using the AverTV6 application since the Media Center does not want to set up the card with the location being Canada (long story so don't ask). Anyway my hardware setup is listed below and my computer should have enough horsepower to do this. I've monitored my CPU usage when the AverTV applicatino is running and it looks like an ECG with all the spikes. Is this a software or hardware issue?

    Windows Media Center 2005
    2GB RAM
    Athlon 3500+
    Invidia 6800GT Video Card
    NVTV Analog Card
    A180 HD Card

Yes, recorded material still studders. I've never used VLC but will give it try and report back.

By the way, I did notice that media center studders only a small bit during live tv but does not studder on play back of recorded shows. The situation here is much more severe.

    Thanks.
