Hi everyone, I'm having an issue when trying to copy a regular home video DVD (regular non commercial DVD)

ok, I try to make an exact copy of the DVD, yet the copy will not play on the DVD player. (Ive made other copies before of other movies without a problem).

Ive also tried importing the movie via Pinnacle Studio which converts the movie directly to edit it right away but it only imports like 90% of the movie, making the movie end about I'd say 10 minutes before the movie actually ends.

(Pinnacle Studio does a good job importing full movies...its just certain specific movies which don't convert completely, plus trying to import these specific movies in Pinnacle Studio is a headache, I have to use a trick to get the importing process to work, but either way it doesnt work completely)

    In conclusion..

I've noticed a specific pattern. Ive had the same issue with 2 different movies but that same 1 guy created them. I'm beginning to think he added some kind of anti copy, because other movies that he did not create... I have been able to copy without a problem, but I'm not sure if its that, or some kind of error.

Do you know whats going on?

So it work fine to copy the entire dvd video_ts folder to your hd without any reading problems?
Try also VOB2MPG and see if you get the entire video in the mpg file.

    You're joking right

Why the H#LL would you use a piece of crap software like that ? espc. to burn anything with ??

Have you just tried DVD Decrypter > ISO > READ, DVD Decrypter > ISO > WRITE ?

If it's a home made dvdr there is not much more you should have to do to copy it
