  1. i have a Panasonic DMR EZ25 DVD recorder, and when i play DVDs it gives me a slightly darker image.

this also was on ES20 as well, which saw the same thing, i thought it was the connection on hte AV, but it turned out that wasnt the case. i also thought of going S-Video as i assumed it might changed things abit, besides better picture quality.

can anyone help me on this? its not very nice to have DVDs that is a slightly darker.

    would really appreciate it.

    anyone?

  2. Most Panasonics have a black level adjustment both at the input for recording and at the output for playback.

  4. I do not have a EZ25 but in this model ES35V, use the "Functions" button on the remote to get to "Setup", then "Video". In the "Video" menu, you can set the black level as "lighter" and "darker" for input recording, for composite output and component outputs independently.

  5. well i cant seem to find it really.

i dont have this 'video' menu, but i got similar ones, but through those, i yet still cannot find it.

    maybe the wordings are different?

or do i have to access it in a special place?

  6. The UK models may not have the input black level adjustment. However, you may have an output black level adjustment. Read your user manual specifically in the video settings section. You should be able to tweak the DVD recorder's picture somehow to your liking.
