  1. This may sound silly, but does anyone know of any software that can edit out the white flashbulb effect that is used like a nervous habit today? I have a lot of video of real tv shows and other programs and they constantly flash the screen white like a flashbulb. It would be great if there was software that could invert the flash to black level.

Some of us have issues with our eyes. There's also epileptics that can have seizures invoked by all that flash thing (seriously).

    Thanks.

It is a transition effect - effectively a very fast fade to white. You can manually go through and replace it with a fade to black if you prefer, but I don't know of anything that will automate it.

A single white flash (and these aren't even real flashes in most cases - too slow for that) will not cause an epileptic seizure. It has to be repeated at the correct frequency. Playing video games is more likely to cause seizures, and only in a small number of susceptible epileptics. Perhaps you don't like the effect, but please do not publish alarmist nonsense as fact.
