    I have the chance to get both of these items for about $100 Canadian, combined. I'm seriously considering it...what do you all think. Thanks...

    As long as you understand you have no upgrade path with that hardware. Socket A is EOL (End Of Life) and cpu's/MB's are getting hard to find.

    Since the Celeron CPU is socket 775 (not socket A) I assume you mean the second MB on the page. A fair deal I would say.

  4. Since I just had a email offering us a S939 CPU and Asus MB for $85 US from one of our vendors
    AMD ATHLON 64 3500 S939 + ASUS S939 ATI 1GFSB PCX A/V/L/R/SATA A8R-MX

    Or a complete system with Vista Premium for $390 your price doesn't sound that good. Our vendors prices are usually pretty close to Internet prices.
