Damnit, that just makes me want to start researching a dual quad Xeon rig again. I thought I was going to get away with not building a new machine this year.
FB-DIMM are the real cause of global warming -
that means up-graders should wait, at least, until end of April and those with large appetites until Q3. Savings are really substantial. AMD will probably have to "retaliate" with its own cuts... good news.
