  1. Ok i have an avi (divx) that is 1.16 mg, i convert it to PAL film 1150kbit/sec and 224kbit sound. When i finish converting the mpg is 3 mgs!! its 3 times the size... so if i have a movie Divx 700 mg, how is that gonna fit on CD? i wont be able to fit like 2.4 Gb on a cd?? What do you do? if i lower the bitrate will that help? what should i lower it to, and how low can you go that it still has descent quality that ill be able to watch it on TV? plz reply

    VCD is 10MB/minute and you can store about 80 min (800MB) on a 80 min CD burnt in VCD mode. To be able to fit more you have to make XVCD, change either the video or/and audio bitrate. You can start check some xvcd tmpgenc templates under our tools section...some includes guide how to convert also. But remember that XVCD is not as DVD compatible as VCD.
