    Hi

I've gathered from this forum that one of the best ways to convert an avi file to dvd is to use ConvertXdvd and then Imgburn to burn the newly-converted file to dvd?

But, with the free ConvertXdvd version plonking a watermark in the dvd screen, is it worth me buying this program to avoid this, or another rival program, or are there any better free programs, to get around this problem?

I did look at an online magazine, which reviewed and rated 1Click DVD Copy as best- (for about $59.00)

    Thanks

If you're out to buy anything, buy a DVD player with DivX/XviD AVI support, and forget all about converters alltogether. The price is about the same.
But if you feel an urge to really do AVI to DVD conversions, Convertx2dvd is the best oneclick solution money can buy.

If you only want to convert DivX filles to DVD, than ConvertX will do. If, however, you want to do some editing, like cutting, fading audio or video etc, than get TMPGEnc Xpress.
It will do DivX to DVD and other formats.

ConvertXToDVD is about $40US at present. But try the program the online magazine is recommending, it's about $60US. (And you might check to see who their advertisers are. You may find other online magazines that make different recommendations.) TMPGEnc Express is about $100US, but it has more options.

Or for free, there is the older version of ConvertX, DivxToDVD.
