  1. I have been trying to extract audios from karaoke dvd and vcd and then re-organize the left and right channel. (I would like to have all the music+vocal on the right and music only on the left). I use DGINDEX to extract dvd audio with no problem. 2 audio streams are extracted (1 is with vocal and 1 is without). However, when I try to use DGINDEX to extract vcd audio (mpeg audio), it only gives me 1 audio stream with both music and vocal inside this stream. (If I am to play this with WMP, I still can toggle between L or R channel). However, when I import this audio file onto CoolEdit, CoolEdit can only get it's music+vocal part on both L and R track. How can I get the music (without vocal) part only?

Does anybody know how to demux mpeg audio into 2 separate audio streams then I can re-organzie the music and vocal channel? I have tried TMPGEnc and DGINDEX. They both only extracted 1 audio stream with both music and vocal. Please help! Thanks!

Have you tried open the extracted audio with something else than cooledit? like audacity, goldwave. Still mixed channels?

  3. Yes, I also tried Goldwave. It's mix channels also. I did not try audacity.
