  1. Using nero, I recently made a slide show of my recent vacation. I need to reposition so,e of the photos, however, the original photos are deleted from my system. Does any one khow how I can transfer the slide show back to digital photos? TIA

    A slide show in what format? VCD, DVD? other video file? .exe file? or ?

  3. Slide show is on dvd and was done from jpeg still shots.

    Barring the chance that the source JPEGs have been saved in a [SOURCES] folder, all your slideshow stuff is gonna be part of the VOBs and that means they're MPEGs.

    They could be MPEG video, or MPEG stills. There could be different ways to go about it depending upon which you have, but either way, the simplest thing for retreiving them is probably just to load the VOBs in question into VirtualdubMPEG2 (while running AnyDVD-- if the disc is encrypted). Advance through the slideshow and save as BMP (or similar).
    Similarly, you could fire up PowerDVD and capture stills while advancing through it. To help keep things tidy, have your Photo editor handy (I prefer Photoshop).
