I have tried to make svga video cd's but ever time I try lots of different methods and suggestions. I just can't get the audio to stay in sync with the video. I have tried for over the past few weeks.

I do VCD 100% perfect every time no problems but the quality is a bit blocky but otherwise perfect.

I was wondering if there was any way to make VCD format no so blocky. Especialy for playback on stand alone players.

if raising the video bitrate is out of the question, then you could try using a "smoothing" filter and/or raising the motion search quality...

You should post your method of converting/ripping. I am certainly not a pro at this but I have made a couple SVCD's that came out perfect using the methods posted on this site.
