This one is just so friggin good - Pushtec by Leftover Lasagne . Works on the midrange spectrum.
Really, really, really, really nice sounding. Not "in your face", more like "that sounds really detailed".

The plugin is an emulation of the famous Pultec EQ (get the pun?) Here's some info on the Pultec line: http://www.uaudio.com/webzine/2004/april/index4.html
Pushtec works as a plugin for Winamp (or Winamp DSP compatible apps like foobar 2000) and as a VST plugin for any sound processing app which supports VST.
Have a look at the image in full size. Took me a while to figure out where to find the presets.
