Clear and crispier on PC or TV?
Sounds like your new graphics card works better with your monitor.
If you playing on a PC, have you tried playing those captured after switching to the new card on the old ATI card?
Hope this troubleshoot method helps. But you might need to mess with drivers. A bit troublesome I admit. -
it's crisper on the tv and pc, even in the encoding. what i really wanted to know, dose the extra memory on the video card help?

Theoretically, it won't. It might help you to reduce % of dropframe. If it really does help, I am interested to know why either.
