  1. I have tried for 2 days to get any kind of burned blu ray video to play on my PS3 and nothing works.

Has anyone been successful at this?
Im trying with a BD-RE disc.

I have tried lots of authoring software.
I tried rip/decrypt/burn talladega nights movie.

No matter what the PS3 refuses to play it.
Always the disc is detected as a BD-RE by the ps3 and when i play it i get error 80029941.
Discs play properly on the PC.

I could not even find the proper burn settings anyware
Like what UDF version to use?
I tried burn with authoring software "DVDIt Pro HD" and it doesnt play.

    So i have 2 questions.

    1. Has anyone gotten any sort of burned blu-ray disc to play on the PS3?
    2. Is there instructions somewhere on how to properly author a bluray disc so it plays on ps3.

    Thanks.

I hope I'm not sounding condescending...

1st-Is your material proper resolution, codec, etc for Blu-Ray?
2nd-Are you using authoring software that actually supports authoring to the Blu-Ray spec?
3rd-What burning software are you using? Does it support burning Blu-Ray?
4th-Does the PS3 explicitly say that it'll support BD-RE playback?

Both BD and HDDVD use the UDF v2.5 filesystem. I'm assuming you're creating an HDMV-formatted title, not BD-J...

    Tell us what you've tried...
