Don't know about running or not, but most of those are not 64bit.

VirtualDub (not Mod) is available as 64bit. Don't know about vista but it works fine under XP x64. Same goes for Daemon Tools and AVISynth. Also I made a 64bit build of VSFilter. Can't remember if I tested it. Once again if I did it was under XP, not vista.

Can't see much point installing a 64bit OS just to run 32bit apps.

I would suggest dual booting for now.

Any of those that use 16-bit installers won't install on a 64-bit OS.

The 64bit version will be probably be harder than Vista 32bit to find compatible programs for. I haven't found that many compatible 64bit programs for Windows XP64 yet. And I've had that for some time. I'm not going near Vista64 for quite a while.

    But here's one list: http://www.iexbeta.com/wiki/index.php/Windows_Vista_Software_Compatibility_List
