  1. The program starts alright, but when i select a file to encode it crashes. I have tried with alot of files, and even done a clean install of XP professional - but it didn't help.

Is this a common problem with XP? and if so what can be done to resolve it?

    Thanks in advance

  2. Why do you think there's a problem with XP? I'm running Windows XP Professional and I used TMPEGEnc today to encode some .asf files into mpg's and then joined them. No problems at all. Try using my version, Beta 12f.

  3. Well, 3 days ago TMPEGenc worked fine on win2k, but after installing XP it doesn't. Installing XP is the only change i have made to my system, so I assume that this problem is XP related - evrything else runs smooth.

so far I think you are the first person to say tmgenc does not work with xp, I have used 4 different version under xp and all have worked fine except for the latest version but that is a cpu realted problem, not xp.

  7. Well, it doesn't really matter now - I reinstalled Win2K and it works fine there.
