Anyone know if there are any differences between ATi TV-Wonder and AIW when capturing video?
I have already got an ATi XPert2000(AGP 8MB) and I only want to buy a card to record TV programs.
My computer: AtholonTB 1G; 256MB PC-133 SDRam; Sis735 mainboard; IBM 60G (60GXP).
Thanks.

i think the alinwon have the extra possibility to capture mpg2 video ( higher résolution )

The AIW is AGP, and has much more memory bandwidth available for capturing high resolution. The problem with a PCI capture card is that all the data (capture+hard drive+audio) will go through the PCI bus.

also some programs require AGP texture mapping to work correctly.
We had to buy a new video card so my sis could play Secert Agent Barbie.
