I am very new at this but here it goes.
I used Sefy's guide v1.9 ( Thanks for the valluable info Sefy!!) and used the following programs:
SmartRipper v2.41, DVD2AVI v1.76, TMPGEnc v2.02. The steps in the guide worked great so far.
When I got to the part on making chapters is when I had trouble. I used Chapter-X-Tractor v 0.95 to import the IFO file, but it wouldn't let me right click on it to save it in notepad. How do I save it?
I then CAREFULLY typed in the info into notepad and saved it. Ran TSCV v0.83 beta 1 and used ChapterXTracter under plugins and loaded the notepad file, when I pressed convert, nothing happened even after letting it run all night thinking it may take a while. What do I do from here?!?
I have VCDEasy v 1.07 also, but was confused as to how to figure out how to make chapters, that's why I tried Chapter-X-Tractor and TSCV to make the chapters as it looked easier.
Thanks for any help you can give!
Also, great site for info for us Newbies!!

Ok, here is how you do it, when you have all information in Chapter-X-Tractor and you mark it (CTRL-A), then you copy it to the clipboard (CTRL-C) then you open up Notepad and paste (CTRL-V), then save the file.
in TSCV you seemed to have done the importing correctly, so i'll skip that
in VCDEasy you first need to add the MPG, then you go into the Chapters section, and on that nice white window on the right, right click with your mouse and select import from Chapter-X-Tractor, then you'll have a window popping up, just mark the end chapter, and press the >> and press oK.
This should import all the chapters for youEmail me for faster replies!

Thanks! I'll give that a try. But why wouldn't TSCV plugin (ChapterXTractor) convert the file?

Because you said you wrote it down, if it was done by Copy and Paste you should have had no problems.

OK. I guess you can't manually enter the info. There must be some control codes or something you can't see and copying with the CNTRL
command probably captures these as well. I'm just guessing here.
I tried the suggestion you gave me (CNTRL-A, CNTRL-C and CNTRL-V) and it worked like a charm.
Thanks again!
