Hi everyone:
I have a video clip which I taped on a Beta many years ago.
I want to preserve the clip on a DVD disc, using a stand-alone DVD recorder. I also want to fade in the beginning and fade out the ending of this clip.
I tried to do the fading with a video enhancer which did the job, but not smoothly. During the fading, the picture became unstable before completely disappearing.
Is there any way(s) I can fade in/out without this terrible effect?
Thanks![]()

Forget the fading trick between those device's ... thing's can go a stray cause you really have no control over any process , apart from the video enhancer ... which might be were the problem is ... they can get iffy which upset's the video in process of the dvd recorder .
Straight beta to dvd recorder , then edit the content on pc ... I think the dvd recorder need's to be set to video mode (dont use vr mode) .
You could use almost any tool from there which would do the fadein / fadeout bizz ... but in order to use the same disc , it's got to be "rw" type ... preferably "+" ... but then you unit might only support "-" media type ... you need to check the manual on that .
Ulead videostudio 9 se (ebay , cheap) ... many feature's ... or
Dvdslideshowgui ... freeware , but you need a liitle more knowledge to do what you want .
Imgburn to send it back to "rw" disc when completed .
Simple process to do ... just ask and I can take you through it .
