    Hello

I have adobe premiere pro 2.0 and im trying to edit a home movie that has already been transcoded to dvd, therefore it is now a .vob file. The problem is after i copy the vob files from disc to my desktop they are not recognized by premiere. I am trying to find a program that can convert my .vob files to mpeg2 or avi (not xvid or dvix as they are not recognizable either). Does anyone know a free program that i can use that will retain the quality of the dvd?

Thanks for your time and any help

Thanks but after I transcoded with vob2mpg v2.3 and played the clip I realized that it doesn't have any sound.

***EDIT*** Sorry it doesn't in windows media player with sound, but it does after being imported into premiere. Thanks for your help!
