You know that FBI warning with which every commercial movie starts? Well I would like to do something like that but with more text and a few pictures before the actual menu appears so every time you start a dvd in the player that appears..

How do I do that, what do I need? I'm using DVD Workshop 2.

AFAIK DVD Workshop only has minor editing capabilities for existing footage, you can't create anything with it... I have an older version but I'm pretty sure it's the same for the latest one. Even if you could it's going to be a minimal. It's primary use is for compiling material and creating menus...

Try their Cool 3-D production, lots of options for doing all kinds of things. Besides that you need an editor.... Video Studio has a lot of great features if you're looking for something cheap. If you want to create material you really need a variety of applications, image editing software, something like Cool 3-D and most importantly a decent video editor to pull it all together, from there you import into DVD Workshop to create the menus and DVD.
