subtitles question????

hi, i have the lord of the rings, return of the king on my pc. CD1, CD2 and CD3 all in avi format. and i have 3 subtitle files, one for each cd. cd1, cd2 and cd3 all in .srt/.sub format. Now my question is which software can i use to convert all these 3 files into dvd and keep the subtitles switchable as well. i was thinking of joing the 3 cds to make one big one and then convert it to dvd, but then what happens to the subtitles?

so basically, i am asking if i have 3 different files and three different subtitles, how can i convert it to one dvd and keep the subtitles switchable??
