    I have a Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML, running WinXP sp2.

I successfuly followed the procedures for cloning the output of the TV to
get Windows XP on the screen and the laptop monitor at the same time.

I can't see any videos with Media Player or Windvd, but i can with Quick time,
Anyhow all i can see is a black screen where the video would be i can hear the
sound, I can also see & play Video games, so why not the video files.

I want to watch various video files on the Lcd TV and control it from the notebook
monitor as it has a better resolution anyway.

What software settings do I need to change to get the TV output to work?

Oh, buy the way the video files are (xvid, Dv-avi, avi, dvix, mpeg, mpeg 2)

That sounds like a video overlay problem. One thing to try: Go to your video card settings in 'Control Panel>Display>Advanced>Troubleshoot' and turn down 'Hardware acceleration' to about 1/3 or so.

You can also try a player like VLC that can turn off and on the overlay settings.
