I have recorded some movies on my PC with help of my tv card.
I have compressed recorded movies with xvid codec and found subtitels on internet.
Then I have burned 4 xvid movies on DVD (nero - burned as data disc.)
The problem is that subtitels are always yellow when i look the movie on television (standalone DVD player).
The subtitels are normal (white) if i look them on my PC.
Why is that? I have tried subtitels with *.srt and *.sub format.

Subtitle size, font, and placement are all controlled by the player. If it is possible to change the color, it will be an option in the dvd player menu.

Thank you.
I dont have this options on my standalone dvd player.
It is strange that dvd-player manufacturer put the yellow collor as default color and the subs letters are very small. -
Is it LG or Vivax player, perhaps?
Try to find e new firmware on the net.
