Okay, so im doing a project for my senior law class, and we are filming. I don't possess a video card with DVI-input and therefore i cant use a DVR, therefor im using my Digital Camera as a video recorder to record 1minute clips which will be merged together and edited.

    I have a few questions:

    1. Which freeware software would you recomend me use to overcome this obstacle? Currently using Window Movie Maker
    2. I would like to add the intro to the CBC news begins, where can i find it?
    3. Also I would like to add somesort of watermark (CBC logo bottom right corner), Where can i find it and how do i put it in?
    4. What other tips can you provide me in making the video better?

Also, i'd like to add this film approx 7-10 min long will be viewed on a computer, and iv tested several small clips and I have found the correct settings on my digital camera that will output a watchable and to my surprise respectable video quality on my computer. The brightness and image quality are find its just the fine tooth combs that will be difficult, ie. CBC logo, intro, outro, other suggestions to make it better highly appreciated

    Thanks

Our Enosoft DV Processor (I assume you are using DV) can put the logo on. (It's already being used for that by a satellite TV provider for a couple of music channels).

Right now, it's free to use....

it appears as trialware, but i guess ill give it a shot as soon as i find the actual watermark. By DV im not sure as to what you mean, my digital camera has a video mode, so i record the video and use the USB method to copy it to my Hard Drive it is in MPG format.

    It doesn't work with MPEG

I should have read your original post more closely - you mention a digital camera, not digital camcorder. My bad!

(It's listed as trialware because it is in beta and each beta release expires after 30 days).
