Record With a Microphone

Yesterday I bought a LiteOn DD-A100GX. I plugged into the
tape out of my mixer/amp and into the audio in (R L) in the back
of the DD-A100GX. I put a blank CD RW in the drive & it did the
quick erase. I pushed the record button and it said recording on
the display on my TV but the numbers did not move. It did not record.
This should be a simple matter of tape out to audio in and record I would think.
Any suggestions.

Buy a Liteon 5005. It has a CD audio record function. Alas, that was the only deck that I ever saw that had that feature....
