I just recently got a dvd player that plays divx files and need to encode files so that they fill the entire 4:3 aspect ratio of a regular tv screen. In ffmpegX, in the Autosize tab, there's a choice that says Unconstrained. What is this ? Will choosing this make a file fill a 4:3 tv screen ?
Think about this. Once bread becomes toast, you can't make it back into bread.

  2. For 4:3 aspect, use the 4:3 choice. Unconstrained simply means that no autosizing is made and you have to enter both width and height manually.
