    Hi,

I have an AVI file. I would like to add SRT (subtitles file) to this AVI file.

    How to do this?

Just make sure they have the same filename -

    film.avi
    film.srt

If you are just going to play it on the computer install vsfilter or on a divx dvd player and use filenames as steveryan says:
    film.avi
    film.srt

If you want permanent subtitles read the sticky topics in this forum , https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=316471
