Ok I took some video off a old tape using Pyro A/V Link and captured it with Adobe Premiere Pro But this of course gives me a 20 GB video for an hour and a half of video. So I used Auto GK to compress it. My first question is what is the normal size for about an hour and a half of video. My next question is when I use Auto GK to shrink it it plays but the sound is off by about 3 to 4 seconds (just a guess). I have used Auto GK to shrink other stuff and never had this problem I was wondering why its doing it now and how to fix it?

1.5 hour in DV-AVI would be around 20 GB. 1 hour DV = 13 GB.

I don't know why you get sync problems with AutoGK. But you could use Premiere Pro to export to avi divx or xvid also...not as easy to config though.

I know that its possible but im not sure how to do it. Also I meant using Auto GK how big is a 1.5 hour file suppose to be. I have the option to make it as big as I want or 2 gb or whatever but how big should I make it?
