I bought a DVD recorder to record the Xbox 360 gameplay the only problem is it will only record perfect in 50hz and everytime i play a game that requires 60hz it moves the screen too far up and shows a big black line at the bottom of the screen, is there any type of equipment that could sort this out before i plug it into the DVD recorder?

Read the manual on recording in 4:3 and / or 16:9 ... someone asked about this alittle while ago about magnavox I think , and I found some info on dish network's being the difference between these mode's and the input used ... I think they pointed to component input .
