I have checked the guides, but they don't seem very detailed. I have a 700mb avi that I would like to burn onto a DVD-R along with another movie using DVDLab. I followed one of the guides with TMPGEnc 3.0 Express, but the file will be 3 gigs when it is finished (3hours to encode). Can anyone point me to a more detailed guide, or give me a better method of getting this avi onto a DVD with another move? Thanks

You need to use a bitrate calculator to fit your two videos to your DVD size. The size of the AVI has no real bearing on the size of the MPEG. Take the total running time of the two videos and put that into your bitrate calculator with a regular DVD as the size. Then use that bitrate in your encoder for both videos. With most Xvid or Divx files off the net, ConvertXtoDVD is easier to use and produces a decent DVD.
