Name this movie?

All I can remember of it was a group of people took over a rec center that was for the kids of a neighborhood..and near the end one kid is walking down the street to confront the leader and a bunch of other people from the area joins him including a guy who had fought with him on other times..dont think it is a old movie..

Part of that kind of sound's like "Over the Edge" ?
But part of it does not
And over the edge is pretty old.

Interesting thread this "name this movie", this has a lot of potential. As scatalows' quiery has been answered, tell me which movie starts with a bomb laden truck being driven into a marine barracks (i think Beirut) by a woman, the marines swarm over it, before realising its a bomb, and then ... boom ? Cannot remember the name.

I thought the name of the movie was over the edge 1979..but when I finally got the movie..not it..more clues to the name I am looking for..

the Rec center had been taken over by a gang I think..
more recent movie not a old one.
As the One Kid from the Community is walking down the street Towards his final fight with the gang leader..lots of other kids join his wal to there..
there is a fight between the Gang Leader and the One kid from the Community
